Game theory is the mathematical analysis of situations where one or more persons compete against nature or two or more people compete against each other. The object of the games is to optimize some utility function that can be either a scalar or a vector. Game theory has applications in military strategy and in economic analysis.
A Coin Matching Game Two players match pennies, heads or tails. A two-person zero-sum game with mixed strategies following the model of Von Neumann and Morgerstern.
